一、案例背景分析
（一）教学目标
1．知识目标
要求掌握两个重点单词：basketball，football
要求掌握两个句子：
I like listening to music.
He likes playing basketball.
语音训练：字母组合au的读音。
2．能力目标
学会谈论有关兴趣爱好的话题
3．德育目标
培养有益的兴趣爱好
（二）教具准备：录像，图片，一些实物，课件。
二、教学过程
Step 1．Greeting问好
Step 2．Warming up热身
1） Answer the questions quickly and enjoy a song生命之杯．学生们在歌曲中快速回答问题。
（设计思路：在充满动感的音乐中，训练学生的交际反应速度，利用运动的氛围为后面运动项目的学习做好铺垫。）
2） Student’s duty report：My hobby.
学生的值日报告，才艺展示。
（设计思路：学生在此环节可以展示自己的才艺，充分发挥自己的创新能力，而值日的内容正是本阶段所学知识，是对已学知识的运用巩固和拓展，同时也是对新知的铺垫和引导。此外，在此环节中教师还可随时就某个环节与学生即兴交谈，培养学生的应变及快速反应能力。）
Step 3．Hobbies about sports
运动方面的爱好
1）To learn four new phrases and two new sentences.
   play table tennis，play volleyball，play basketball，play football.

 a. 观看奥运乒乓球女单决赛，张怡宁夺冠最后时刻。
T: She won the game. Do you like playing table tennis?
T: I have two table tennis balls here. Say something about you and table tennis. If you say well，you’ll get one.
 b. T: But I don’t like playing table tennis. It’s too small. I like the big balls. Look，they are the big ball players.
此时播放奥运会中国女排夺冠最后一球的场面。
T: What are they doing? 
T: Who likes playing volleyball? 
 c. 课件显示排球飞到篮球场，播放一场篮球赛。
T: Are they playing volleyball?
T: Do you remember our chant about basketball? Say it together. Who likes playing basketball? I need four students. Let’s say and act.
Chant:
Bounce the ball，bounce the ball.
I like playing basketball.
Bounce the ball，bounce the ball. 
You like playing basketball.
Bounce the ball，bounce the ball. 
He likes playing basketball.

 d. T: Together，let’s throw the ball.
课件显示投出的篮球飞到足球场上，并出示一幅足球明星照片，学习“He likes playing football.”再播放球赛画面，配以《生命之杯》音乐，学生边看边唱。
T: Why do you like the song?
T: I think the music is great. I like listening to music. 
   Do you like listening to music? （学习I like listening to music.）
（设计思路：通过观看真实比赛的场面，来吸引学生的注意力，培养学习兴趣，再让学生真实体验参与球类运动，使学生积极参与，轻松掌握学习内容。）
1. Learn the new chant.
   学习歌谣。
T: We like listening to music. But two of my friends don’t like listening to music. They just like throwing the ball.
Chant: Paul is big and tall.
Saul is small and short.
Their only hobby is throwing the ball.
They often throw the ball over the wall.
（设计思路：歌谣配上动画画面后学生更易接受，更好地完成任务。）
