Hello,everyone! My topic is –let’s make our world more beautiful . Today we are here to celebrate our hometown Anji’s Third Ecology Day. It’s no doubt that we are all very happy and we do hope the beautiful environment in our hometown will become an ID for Anji—the hometown of bamboo in China.

  Tree Planting Day has just passed for a couple of days. With many young trees around us, we are really happy but I have to talk about a serious problem here that our earth’s body is becoming very bad. In the old days, she had long blue hair and wore the green dress. That made her look very nice, but now all the things have changed and sometimes we even don’t know her.

  I remember that one day when I was on my way home, I found a big tree with only one flower and there were no birds. What was worse, I could see much litter everywhere. As a student, I just picked up the litter and put it into the dustbin, just then a piece of paper came to my eyes, I felt really angry, but I couldn’t find who had thrown it away. So I just went home quickly , because I didn’t want to stay there any more. When I passed a river , I found it smelt very bad and it’s not clean like before. I wondered what brought such great change. I couldn’t see my favorite color. I felt very sad because we had lost the color of nature. But I believe that one day I will see it again. So from now on , let’s make a contribution to protecting our environment.

  With the development of Anji’s economy, we have more problems about the environment. Our county calls on us to work hard to build another Anji in the next five years. That means we’ll try our best to develop our industry. I’m afraid it’s really a challenge to our environment. I hope we can keep the balance between them, the economic development and the environment protection.

  My dear friends, remember it: Taking care of our environment is the most important thing. In fact. everyone should do it as our duty. The earth is our mother. Everyone wants to have a beautiful mother , don’t we? So let’s make our world more beautiful!
