Good  morning,  teachers !  My  name  is  Chen  Lingqi . I ‘m from  Pan Xi  Primary  School  .Glad  to  be  here  and  give  my  speech ,the  topic  of  my  speech  is “A  river”.

I’m Jane, I'm a  river , a  happy  river . I  have  many  friends: animals, trees  and  lovely children . Everyday  we  play  together , children  swim , the  animals  sing  , all of us are  very  happy  and  we  never  feel  tired .

But one day, a  big  factory  was  built  in  my  head. The  birds  and  fish  had  to  move  their  houses  because  of  the  dirty  water  and  smoke.  My  friends  went  away . I  felt  so  bad  and  kept  crying.

Some  years  later , people  waked  up, they  began  to  know  that  clean  water  is  so  important , so  they  stopped  the  factory  and  spent  a  lot  of  time  washing  my  body .Little by little, I  found  that  I  was  clean  again. Now ,  all  my friends  come  back, I’m  the  happiest  river in  the  world again!

So  dear  friends ,  please  love  me  and  protect  me, I will  love  you  too!  That’s  all !  Thank  you !
