Hello, everyone:

I’m Zhu Mengya. I’m 9.

Today, the topic of my speech is “ Environment-protection in my heart”.

Just at the first class this term, Miss Wang told us that we were going to begin our lessons by writing the 26 English letters.

Soon ,the kids got their copies each，“oops, Miss Wang, I have a problem with my book, it has been used before”, a boy couldn’t help but shouted. The other boys and girls screamed afterwards when examining theirs. Miss Wang explained with a smile: Kids, I had made a tiny survey during the winter holiday and found that each kid only use 37 per cent of their books all the way from one grade at primary school. It’s a big waste of the wooden resource. Suppose one kid dumps a book during a term, there are ten million students in our country, that’s ten million books and it’ll be a waste of five million YUAN, that’s a huge sum.

 “So, we shouldn’t throw away any exercise book and try to use them as much as possible. Miss Wang was very glad to see us accepting the old books. Finally, this uncommon  class got over and the idea of “environment” took root deep in our heart.

From then on, I had become aware of everything about “environment”. I would notice my classmates when they throw away the spitball into a dustbin; people passing by would classify the garbage into dustbin; mother would sprinkle the flowers and clean the bathroom with used water. And father would go and buy the cooked meet with a plate…

Everything like these turn out that the awareness of environment has come into the heart of people.
